Appalachian Ballet Theatre
The Appalachian Ballet Theatre Dance Ensemble’s repertoire includes five full length ballets: The Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Gardee, Copellia, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, as well as five original ballets; The Rainbow Goblins, Talking Eggs, Ballet Baseball, Variations on a Theme, The Secret of Trembleton Hall, and An Evening of Ballet
All dancers at ABT are invited to become members of the dance emsemble. Even the youngest dancer can grace the stage as prehaps a fairy in Sleeping Beauty. As a member of the ABT Dance Ensemble, each dancer is provided on loan with no additional cost all required costumes for each performance.
As a non-profit group, the ABT dance ensemble relies on parent and community volunteers to assist with tasks such as ticket sales, sewing, stage work, or working with the box office staff. The commitment of volunteers and their attention to detail sets the stage to ensure that our dancers are provided a unique and positive performanceexperience.
