Intermediate Ballet - This class is for the dancer with several years of training. The class emphasizes technique, execution of movement and pointe. Beginning pointe students should enroll in this class, and must take two classes per week. This is necessary to build strength and to prevent injury that can occur by infrequent training.
Advanced Ballet - For the dancer who has completed several years of training in classical ballet, the combinations are more complex emphasizing movement that is fluid, with elegant lines, balanced turns and quick light jumps.
Ballet Conditioning - Available to Intermediate, Adult and Advanced dancers only. Students will focus on building the strength, flexibility and control needed to execute ballet moves. Each class will emphasize barre exercises and will also include a combination of center floor work and across-the-floor combinations. This class is also designed to improve a dancer's range of motion, enhance muscle flexibility and increase their level of core muscle strength. Through a variety of stretches and strengthening exercises, dancers will also increase their awareness of their own body's potential as it connects to expression through movement
Adult Ballet - This class is designed for adult students of all levels of training, from former dancers to adults who are looking to start their dance training for the first time. Emphasis in class will be on correct body alignment/placement, strength and flexibility, and providing formal training in the foundations of classical ballet.
